Na semana passada no último dia 30 de junho, o prefeito Marcelo Borges, foi recebido em audiência pelo governador Helder Barbalho em companhia das Secretárias de Educação e Planejamento, ocasião que registrou o ato de assinatura da Cessão do convênio firmado entre o Governo do Estado do Pará e a Prefeitura de Redenção, para juntos contribuírem na formação de alunos no curso de técnico agropecuário da Escola Agrotécnica Antonieta de Lourdes.
Segundo Helder Barbalho esse ato foi um compromisso firmado para que esse espaço fortaleça a Prefeitura de Redenção no avanço almejado e, junto com o Governo venha contribuir na formação da vocação mais importante para o Sul do Pará e, principalmente para o município Redenção.
O governador Helder Barbalho destacou ainda que ao ratificar a citada Cessão para a Escola Agrícola junto a Prefeitura de Redenção, haverá avanços de projetos, obras e ações e, acima tudo com incentivo para a que através do conhecimento a juventude possa ser utilizada na mão de obra dessa pujante região no agronegócio paraense.
Implantada há 28 anos a atual Escola Agrotécnica Antonieta de Lourdes, nesse período passou por várias transformações mantendo suas atividades no plano proporcionado de forma a garantir a formação para que o aluno se forme no curso desejado e profissionalizante.
Para o prefeito redencense Marcelo Borges o seu programa de governo sempre esteve atento no sentido de manter os estudantes nesse tipo de iniciativa, fato que reflete sua preocupação com os investimentos em educação, que visa atender às necessidades de organização e produção dos diversos segmentos da cadeia produtiva do agronegócio com sustentabilidade econômica, ambiental e social.
